CLOSING EVENING OF A 5th SEASON: SPARK

Daan Roosegaarde, Studio Roosegaarde

At nightfall for a few hours of poetry Avenue Mozart – Terraces of the Grand Théatre de Provence The Grand Théâtre de Provence, the Tourist Office and the City of Aix-en-Provence welcome a SPARK poetic performance on a proposal from Second Nature by Studio Roosegaarde.

SPARK is a new generation of fireworks, respectful of the environment, which invites you to contemplate the night and the stars. Thousands of biodegradable luminous sparkles organically move with the wind, creating wonder.

Artist Daan Roosegaarde was inspired by the magical light of fireflies and a desire to transform traditional methods of celebration such as fireworks and confetti by drawing on new
technologies.
