Charity excursion

In collaboration with the AFM Téléthon, Les Vayres à pieds organize an excursion followed by a “Pot-au-feu” meal at the Vayres town hall on Sunday November 27, for the benefit of Telethon.

8 km hike, departure at 9:30 from the Place du Champ-de-Foire. Registration: 2€. Meals from 12:30 at €16 for adults and €8 for children (6 to 12 years old). Reservations at or at The benefits of this day will be entirely donated to Telethon.

Gastronomic salon

The 38th gastronomic fair of the Lions Club of Aixe-sur-Vienne will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November, at the town hall of Séreilhac. On the programme: regional products, catering and refreshments on site. The benefits of this event will allow the club to continue its actions (equipment for hospitalized children, diabetes screening, homework help, school trips, cleaning of paths and river banks, etc.).

The municipal library of Bosmie-L’Aiguille is organizing a reading-dedication with regional authors, on Friday 25 November, from 8pm.
Christian Brissart, Pierre Frémont and their editor Fabrice Garcia-Carpintero, director of the Black-out editions, as well as Liliane Fauriac, edited by Mon Limousin, will be present. Readings of excerpts from the books presented will be proposed, accompanied by slam texts. The public will then be able to share a convivial moment of exchange with the artists.

On stage will be the Ensemble orchestral du Palais (French song, film scores and harmony pieces), L’Harmonie des enfants du Dorat (ditto) before the two musical companies play a common piece together.

Social collection

In collaboration with the Secours populaire, the MSA organizes a collection for vulnerable families: toys, games, books, gift vouchers, cinema tickets, make-up, perfume, show tickets, non-perishable food, clothing, etc. Donations can be deposited at the Limoges MSA, 1 impasse Sainte-Claire, on 23, 28, 30 November and 5 and 7 December, from 8.30am to 12.15pm and from 1.15pm to 5pm.

ARAL (Regional Association of Friends of Limousin) is organizing a conference on Friday 25 November at 5.30pm at the BFM center in Limoges, christened “Roger Gonthier: great unknown architect of the city of Limoges in the interwar period”, after Pascal Plas, historian.
