our 3 favorites, in Paris and elsewhere, to live your best dolce vita
On January 17, gourmets celebrate the italian food day – although for us it is clearly all year round! As in France, local specialties vary from region to region. In Genoa, don’t miss the trofie with pesto, typical of Liguria. In Sicily we prefer to enjoy arancini, these delicious breaded and fried risotto balls. And of course, in Naples, we taste the REAL Neapolitan pizza! Because unfortunately we can’t spend the time walking through La Botte tasting regional dishes, here are our 3 favorite Italian restaurant addresses, in Paris and elsewhere.
revelry
For pizza lovers, and if we let ourselves be seduced by the atmosphere street food of Spree? This restaurant with a pop-art style decor, which already has 3 Parisian addresses, is betting on the sale of square cut pizza as you can find in Rome, with fresh ingredients. Even better, Revelry’s recipes are very daring! In writing, we particularly recommend part al beets and cottage cheese, with an original taste that you won’t find anywhere else. For the more traditional palates, you will also find your happiness with the Margherita, the 4 Cheeses or even the one with truffle cream and mushrooms.

For dessert, we concur the ultimate indulgence with the gianduja pizza, spreadable cream and chopped Piedmont IGP hazelnuts. A real treat! Whether you go for a savory or sweet side, the dough is amazing and very airy, yet crunchy too. For Parisians, it is entirely possible to order online. The best way to discover Baldoria is to opt for a formula with 2 or 3 slices of pizza. Perfect for a gourmet lunch break!

Claudia Paris
A stone’s throw from the Champ de Mars, we discover Claudia Paris, who introduces herself as a “Italian canteen”. His very warm and typical Mediterranean decoration we embark directly for the Amalfi coast. And his cooking? Extremely tasty, the dishes transport us to Italy, with in particular the wood fired pizzas that are made in front of us. Generously filled, the dough is delicious. In writing, you’ll want to test the 5 cheeses, very tasty! Lovers of good meat will also find their happiness with the high quality and very tender beef fillet. For those who prefer pasta, they won’t be disappointed. ravioli filled with truffles or linguine with clams and bottarga.
As for dessert, we can only recommend the tiramisu ! A classic of Italian cuisine, you will really feel like you are not in Paris when you taste it, its quality is so close to those you might find there. A must! Claudia is an excellent address both for a dinner with family or friends, and for a romantic date. Since then we have only one thing in mind: savoring their tiramisu as if it were the first time.

Very established in Ile-de-Francehas many addresses, from Lille in Aix-en-ProvencePassing through Vannes and Nancy. Compared to its competitors, IT stands out for its homemade dishes with fresh products directly from Italy. The best way to find out? Try the Margherita di Burrata as we did. As for the desserts, they are all presented in the showcase, so much so that your mouth is watering. You can taste the tiramisu in many forms! Pistachio, rose or even hazelnut, we are happy to be tempted, even if our favorite remains the classic.
